Las'anod, November 10, 2024 – The institutions responsible for the revision of the Constitution—namely, the Independent Commission for the Review and Implementation of the Constitution (ICRIC), the Constitutional Review and Implementation Oversight Committee of the Parliament, and the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs—today jointly launched the Consultation meeting of Scholars and Elders of the SSC-Khatumo community regarding the preparation of amendments to Chapters 5 to 9 of the Constitution.
Scholars and Elders of SSC-Khatumo culture during the meeting argued well on the proposal of amendments to the 5th - 9th chapters. Consultation meetings to propose amendments to Chapters 5 - 9 of the Constitution have started today in the town of Lasaanood at the headquarters of the SSC-Khatumo administration. As these meetings will continue, consultations will be held with various sections of the community and the SSC-Khatumo administration.
